Lives and works in Vienna, Austria.

A single letter unreadable, words dissolved, a supposedly written text entangled to a wide, compact surface of structures - the pieces by the Austrian artist Lucas Zallmann deal with the dissolution of the single element. It is the constant replication of graphical segments that assist a compact wide black landscape of structures to arise. The pieces gently remind on a flickering monitor and powerfully drag the viewers gaze deep into their center attempting to capture it. Zallmanns work addresses the correlation of the single component to the whole, which finally becomes visible through the process of stringing together and thus is forming the new, which ultimately reassembles an image.
